The increasing production of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) vessels in traditional shipyards contributes to higher waste generation. This study aims to estimate the volume of FRP waste based on vessel GT size and identify the physical forms of waste produced during the manufacturing process at CV. Roni Marine Shipyard, Cilacap. The method used includes direct observation, vessel sampling by size, and classification and weighing of waste based on their type/shape. Results show that FRP composite waste in sheet/plate form accounts for the highest percentage (67%), followed by purse solid FRP composite waste (30%), and impure solid FRP composite waste (3%). The average amount of FRP waste generated per 1 Gross Tonnage (GT) of vessel is 2.73 kg/GT. The highest amount of waste was produced during the frame installation stage. These findings are important for improving waste management efficiency and supporting the recycling of FRP waste into value-added products such as composite boards.-
