| dc.description.abstract | This study identified that the interpretive media at the Jakarta History Museum did not optimally support the delivery of collection information to visitors. Using a mixed methods approach, this study combined observation, interviews, questionnaires with 100 respondents, and literature review to evaluate the effectiveness of the interpretive media in terms of design and user perception. The analytical methods used were Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and the One Score One Criteria Indicator System. The results showed that the average level of suitability of the interpretive media was inadequate. The three main aspects with the lowest performance were color, typography, and visual elements. Overall, all seven aspects scored below the maximum and had a negative gap. Therefore, development was carried out using several indicators within the seven aspects to align with visitor expectations of the media. Based on the IPA quadrant mapping, color, typography, and visual elements were in Quadrant I (Top Priority). The output, in the form of interpretive media designs tailored to visitor perceptions, is expected to enhance understanding and the interpretive experience. | - |
