Produksi Audio Digital Berbahasa Inggris untuk Meningkatkan Aksesibilitas Layanan Kunjungan Museum DPR RI

Abstract

Proyek ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan panduan audio digital berbahasa Inggris sebagai bentuk inovasi dalam mendukung program kunjungan di Museum DPR RI. Berdasarkan survey internal berupa wawancara kepada pamong budaya, Museum DPR RI sering menerima kunjungan dari wisatawan mancanegara dan sekolah internasional, namun tidak semua pamong budaya memiliki keterampilan bahasa asing yang cukup untuk menyampaikan informasi secara efektif. Hal ini menyebabkan adanya kesenjangan dalam penyampaian materi sejarah dan peran DPR RI kepada pengunjung asing yang tidak memahami bahasa Indonesia. Hasil pengamatan mandiri menunjukkan bahwa museum belum memiliki fasilitas digital yang memungkinkan pengunjung untuk mengakses informasi secara mandiri dan fleksibel. Mayoritas informasi masih disampaikan melalui panel narasi cetak dan interaksi langsung dengan pamong budaya. Sementara itu, museum-museum modern pada umumnya telah mulai beralih ke sistem digital, seperti panduan audio berbasis QR Code, untuk meningkatkan pengalaman kunjungan yang lebih interaktif dan mudah diakses. Panduan ini tidak hanya mendukung upaya modernisasi pelayanan museum, tetapi juga menjadi model layanan digital yang dapat diterapkan pada produk-produk edukasi lainnya di masa depan. Proses produksi panduan audio digital ini akan diuji coba terlebih dahulu kepada pamong budaya Museum DPR RI. Para pamong budaya akan memberikan masukan terkait akurasi informasi, kualitas audio, serta kenyamanan dalam penggunaannya. Setelah melalui proses revisi dan penyempurnaan, panduan audio digital akan dipublikasikan melalui metode pemindaian QR code yang ditempelkan pada panel narasi sejarah di area museum. QR code tersebut akan terhubung dengan folder google drive yang berisi seluruh file audio, sehingga pengunjung dapat dengan mudah mengakses panduan menggunakan perangkat pribadi mereka. Adanya panduan audio digital ini, diharapkan Museum DPR RI dapat memberikan layanan yang lebih modern, inklusif, dan ramah bagi seluruh pengunjung, terutama wisatawan asing dan pelajar dari Sekolah Internasional.

This project aims to develop an English-language digital audio guide as a form of innovation in supporting the DPR RI Museum's visitor program. Based on an internal survey in the form of interviews with cultural guides, the Indonesian House of Representatives Museum often receives visits from foreign tourists and international schools, but not all cultural guides have sufficient foreign language skills to convey information effectively. This results in a gap in the delivery of historical material and the role of the Indonesian House of Representatives to foreign visitors who do not understand Indonesian. Self-observation results indicate that the museum does not yet have digital facilities that allow visitors to access information independently and flexibly. Most information is still conveyed through printed narrative panels and direct interaction with cultural guides. Meanwhile, modern museums have generally begun to transition to digital systems, such as QR Code-based audio guides, to enhance a more interactive and accessible visitor experience. This guide not only supports efforts to modernize museum services but also serves as a model for digital services that can be applied to other educational products in the future. The production process for this digital audio guide will first be tested with the cultural guides of the DPR RI Museum. The cultural guides will provide feedback on the accuracy of the information, audio quality, and ease of use. After undergoing a process of revision and refinement, the digital audio guide will be published via QR codes affixed to historical narrative panels throughout the museum. These QR codes will link to a Google Drive folder containing all audio files, allowing visitors to easily access the guide using their personal devices. With this digital audio guide, it is hoped that the Museum of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia can provide more modern, inclusive, and visitor-friendly services for all visitors, particularly foreign tourists and students from international schools.
