Analisis AMBI menunjukkan area tambak cukup terganggu (1,65-3,33) namun kondisi perairannya berdasarkan M-AMBI tergolong baik (0,76-1,00). Macrozoobenthos is an ecological indicator that is very sensitive to environmental conditions changes, because its life phase does not move actively and has a long life cycle in one place. This study purposes to analyze the characteristics of the macrozoobenthos communities namely biological parameter, physical-chemical parameters and the substrates in determining aquatic environmental conditions in the mangrove-ponds area of Sungai Undang Village, Central Kalimantan. The study was conducted for four months (March 2024, June 2024, August 2024, and January 2025) representing the dry and rainy season with three station points (Station 1 mangrove-pond, Station 2 outlet channel, and Station 3 inlet channel). The macrozoobenthos found consisted of the Gastropoda and Polychaeta classes. The highest density was in January 2025 and Station 1 with a moderate diversity index, high evenness, and low dominance. The existence of macrozoobenthos based on PCA analysis was influenced by temperature, turbidity, and salinity parameters. Station 1 and Station 2 had high similarities based on similarity analysis. AMBI analysis shows that the pond area is quite disturbed (1.65-3.33) but the water conditions based on M-AMBI are classified as good (0.76-1.00). |
