Natural resources in coastal areas contribute to economic growth and impact the development of surrounding land areas. Along with uncontrolled population growth, land areas in major cities require expansion through reclamation. Reclamation affects fishermen and coastal communities in terms of social, economic, environmental, and welfare conditions. This study aims to analyze the differences in the impacts of reclamation on the social capital and welfare of green mussel fishermen and fish catch fishermen. The study uses a quantitative approach analyzed using the Mann Whitney test and supported by qualitative data. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to 67 respondents using purposive sampling and in-depth interviews with informants using the snowball technique. The results of the study indicate that significant differences are felt by each group of fishermen due to land reclamation, particularly in terms of economic aspects and fishermen's social networks. However, in terms of environmental aspects, levels of trust, social norms, and fishermen's well-being, no significant differences were found.
