dc.description.abstractBengkulu memiliki potensi wisata alam dan budaya sejarah, namun kunjungan wisatawan cenderung fluktuatif dibanding provinsi lainnya di Sumatra. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kondisi sektor pariwisata, mengidentifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal, merumuskan alternatif strategi, dan menentukan prioritas strategi. Data dikumpulkan dan diolah pada bulan Januari 2025 hingga Mei 2025, dengan lima informan melalui wawancara dan kuesioner. Analisis dilakukan dengan matriks IFE-EFE, matriks IE, matriks SWOT, dan matriks QSP. Kondisi sektor pariwisata di Provinsi Bengkulu menunjukkan pemulihan pascapandemi dan arah pengembangan didukung perwilayahan strategis. Hasil identifikasi internal kekuatan utama adalah keindahan alam dan warisan sejarah yang kuat, sedangkan kelemahan utamanya adalah kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pariwisata masih rendah. Pada eksternal peluang utama yaitu digitalisasi dalam bidang pemasaran dan pariwisata, sementara ancaman utamanya adalah perilaku premanisme dan punggutan liar dari masyarakat sekitar. Matriks SWOT menghasilkan 12 strategi alternatif, dengan delapan penetrasi pasar dan empat pengembangan produk. Prioritas strategi berdasarkan matriks QSPM, yaitu menerapkan paket wisata Bengkulu Nature and Heritage Package.-
dc.description.abstractBengkulu had the potential for natural and historical cultural tourism, but tourist visits tended to fluctuate compared to other provinces in Sumatra. The objectives of this study are to describe the general condition of the tourism sector, identify internal and external factors, formulate alternative strategies, and determine strategic priorities. Data were collected and processed from January 2025 to May 2025 through interviews and questionnaires involving five informants. The tourism sector in Bengkulu Province showed signs of post-pandemic recovery and development direction supported by strategic regional planning. The analysis was carried out using the IFE-EFE Matrix, IE Matrix, SWOT Matrix, and QSP Matrix. The results of the internal identification of the main strength was the natural beauty and strong historical heritage, while the main weakness was public awareness of tourism. On the external factor, the main opportunitiy was digitalization in the flied of marketing and tourism, while the main threat was thuggish behavior and illegal retributions from the surrounding community. The SWOT Matrix produced 12 alternative strategies, with eight market penetration and four product development strategies. Priority strategy based on QSP Matrix was the implementating Bengkulu Nature and Heritage Tour Packages.-
