| dc.description.abstract | FRISKA AURELIA. Penerapan social media management pada Akun Media Sosial Instagram Kontan Academy Berbasis Metode Design thinking (Implementation of Social media Management on Kontan Academy's Instagram Social Media Account Based on the Design Thinking Method). Dibimbing oleh WILLY BACHTIAR Penerapan social media management pada akun instagram Kontan Academy dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi digital dan memperkuat kehadiran brand di tengah persaingan konten edukasi bisnis yang semakin ketat. Tujuan utama proyek ini adalah menghasilkan panduan strategis yang dapat membantu tim dalam mengelola media sosial secara konsisten, terarah, dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan audiens. Proyek ini menggunakan metode design thinking yang terdiri dari lima tahap: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Setiap tahap dirancang untuk memahami karakteristik audiens, merumuskan masalah utama, menghasilkan solusi kreatif, serta menguji dan menyempurnakan strategi pengelolaan konten. Selama proses implementasi yang berlangsung sekitar empat bulan, penulis melakukan analisis mendalam terhadap demografi dan preferensi audiens, yang kemudian menjadi dasar dalam penyusunan kalender konten dan perencanaan variasi format unggahan. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dan penurunan performa akun, dengan peningkatan interaksi pada konten-konten edukatif seperti carousel dan reels, meskipun stabilitas pertumbuhan belum sepenuhnya tercapai. Penggunaan tools seperti Meta Business Suite dan Later memudahkan penjadwalan unggahan dan pemantauan performa konten secara real-time, sehingga tim dapat melakukan evaluasi rutin dan iterasi strategi berdasarkan data insight. Pembahasan dari hasil proyek ini menegaskan pentingnya perencanaan matang, inovasi konten, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan dalam pengelolaan media sosial. Kolaborasi antartim serta adaptasi terhadap tren dan kebutuhan audiens menjadi kunci dalam membangun komunikasi yang efektif dan membentuk ekosistem digital yang profesional. Panduan yang dihasilkan dari proyek ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan praktis bagi tim Kontan Academy dalam mengembangkan strategi konten yang relevan, meningkatkan brand awareness, engagement, dan pertumbuhan komunitas audiens secara berkelanjutan. | dc.description.abstract | FRISKA AURELIA. Implementation of Social Media Management on Kontan Academy’s Instagram Social Media Account Based on the Design Thinking Method. Supervised by WILLY BACHTIAR. The implementation of social media management on Kontan Academy’s Instagram account was motivated by the need to improve the effectiveness of digital communication and strengthen brand presence amidst the increasingly competitive landscape of business education content. The main goal of this project is to produce a strategic guideline that helps the team manage social media consistently, purposefully, and adaptively based on audience needs. This project employs the design thinking method, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Each stage is designed to understand audience characteristics, define key problems, generate creative solutions, and test and refine content management strategies. Over the four-month implementation period, the author conducted an in-depth analysis of the audience’s demographics and preferences, which then served as the foundation for developing a content calendar and planning various post formats. The results show fluctuations in account performance, with increased engagement on educational content such as carousels and reels, although consistent growth has not yet been fully achieved. Tools such as Meta Business Suite and Later facilitated post scheduling and real-time performance monitoring, enabling the team to conduct routine evaluations and iterate strategies based on insights and data. The discussion of this project’s findings highlights the importance of thorough planning, content innovation, and continuous evaluation in social media management. Team collaboration and adaptability to trends and audience needs are key to building effective communication and shaping a professional digital ecosystem. The resulting guideline from this project is expected to serve as a practical reference for the Kontan Academy team in developing relevant content strategies, increasing brand awareness, engagement, and sustainable audience community growth.
