The cosmetics industry in Indonesia shows significant growth, driven by increased consumer awareness of personal care and a large market potential. This study aims to analyze the influence of investments, both Domestic Direct Investment (DDI) and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on the development of the cosmetics industry in Indonesia. The data used is panel data from five cosmetics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2015-2023. The analysis methods applied include descriptive analysis and panel data regression. The results show that Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has a positive impact on the development of the cosmetics industry. This study concludes that collaboration between DDI and FDI investments is crucial to strengthening the competitiveness of Indonesia’s cosmetics industry in the global market. Policy recommendations are provided to enhance investment and support innovation that can strengthen the position of Indonesia’s cosmetics industry, both domestically and internationally.
