Sedangkan hijauan perlu ditingkatkan. Optimalisasi input meningkatkan R/C ratio dari 1,36 menjadi 1,71.
PT Agro Investama Malangbong is a sheep farming company in Garut, West Java, which is developing a fattening business to meet the increasing demand for sheep, especially during Eid al-Adha and aqiqah. The company faces production problems in the form of feed imbalance and suboptimal labor involvement. This study aims to analyze technical and allocative efficiency using the Cobb-Douglas production function through multiple linear regression and NPMx/Px analysis, and examine managerial implications through optimal input calculations and income analysis and R/C ratio. Data were obtained from 79 sheep for three months. The results showed an Adjusted R² value of 44,5%, with concentrate having a significant negative effect on sheep weight gain, forage input having a significant positive effect, and labor having a positive but insignificant effect. Concentrate and labor need to be reduced. While forage needs to be increased. Optimizing input increases the R/C ratio from 1,36 to 1,71.
