The absence of standardized procedures for recording instant sell and sales transactions at XYZ Pte. Ltd. has led to various issues, such as inaccurate recording of damaged goods from instant sell transactions and misstatements in sales records due to weak internal controls. This research aims to develop structured Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that can be implemented in the transaction recording process. The method employed is a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques that include interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the development of procedures based on internal control principles and quality management systems results in clearer, more accurate, and easier-to-understand transaction recording flows. The implications of these procedures include improved reliability in recording damaged goods, enhanced inter-team consistency, and greater accuracy in the company's financial reporting. |
