This study aims to evaluate accounts receivable at PT XYZ, a construction services company, using aging analysis and the application of PSAK 71. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach based on 2023 financial reports, document review, and semi-structured interviews grounded in professional experience. The results indicate that the majority of PT XYZ’s receivables fall into the >365 days aging category, suggesting a high risk of uncollectibility. The implementation of PSAK 71 through the Expected Credit Loss (ECL) model remains suboptimal, primarily due to reliance on historical data without incorporating macroeconomic variables. The study recommends enhancing the implementation of a more holistic forward-looking approach and reinforcing the company’s policies on accounts receivable risk classification. |
