dc.description.abstractUsia prasekolah adalah periode penting bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, termasuk perkembangan kognitifyang dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pengasuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik anak dan keluarga, praktik pengasuhan asah, asih, asuh terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia prasekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan melibatkan 102 ibu dan anak usia 4-5 tahun di taman kanak-kanak yang berada di Kota dan Kabupaten Bogor. Contoh dipilih menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan teknikpurposive sampling. Uji analisis hubungan menggunakan Pearson, sedangkan uji pengaruh menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa praktik pengasuhan berada di kategori sedang, sementara perkembangan kognitif anak berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil uji hubungan menunjukkan bahwa usia anak berhubungan positif signifikan dengan perkembangan kognitif. Lama pendidikan ibu memiliki hubungan positif signifikan dengan praktik asih, praktik asuh, dan perkembangan kognitif anak. Hasil uji pengaruh menunjukkan bahwa usia anak, praktik asah, dan praktik asuh berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan kognitif, sedangkan praktik asih tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan kognitif.
dc.description.abstractPreschool age is a crucial period for children's growth and development, including cognitive development influenced by the quality of parenting. This study aims to analyze the influence of child and family characteristics and Asah, Asih, Asuh parenting practices on the cognitive development of preschool-aged children. A quantitative method with a cross-sectional design was used. Data were collected through questionnaires involving 102 mothers and their 4-5-year-old children in kindergartens in urban and rural areas of Bogor. Samples were selected using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. Relationship analysis used Pearson tests, along with multiple linear regression. Results showed that children's cognitive development was generally in the high category, while parenting practices were moderate. Children's age was significantly and positively related to cognitive development. Mothers' education level had a significant positive relationship with Asih, Asuh, and cognitive development. Regression analysis showed that children's age, Asah, and Asuh practices significantly affected cognitive development, while Asih had no significant effect.
