variasi sangat tinggi. Fish feed is an important component in aquaculture and the feed produced must contain nutrients that meet the needs of farmed fish. The nutrient content of raw materials varies from different suppliers or from the same supplier. Variations in the quality of raw materials will affect the quality of feed. This study aims to evaluate the quality of animal and vegetable raw materials using the coefficient of variation (CV) of each nutrient to maintain the quality of fish feed in the feed industry. This study used 182 samples consisting of animal and vegetable raw materials from different arrivals at each supplier. The sampling of raw materials was carried out twice, namely sampling 1 and 2. The raw materials will then be analyzed chemically and physically. The results of the chemical analysis to determine the nutrient content of sampling 2 are calculated by the coefficient of variation value. This coefficient of variation value is needed for the formulation needs of making fish feed. The highest coefficient of variation value was obtained in poultry meat meal (PMM) raw materials in the ash content analysis, which was 48%. Meanwhile, the lowest CV value was 0.3% in the pepsin digest analysis of fish meal protein raw materials from soybean meal raw materials. From this study it can be concluded that the raw materials used in this study produce very high coefficient of variation values. |
