dc.description.abstractPraktik pengasuhan dan persepsi orang tua tentang sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam memengaruhi kesiapan anak untuk bersekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh praktik pengasuhan dan persepsi orang tua tentang sekolah terhadap kesiapan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain explanatory dengan metode pengambilan contoh non-probability melalui teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian melibatkan 102 ibu dan anak usia prasekolah yang bersekolah di Taman Kanak-Kanak di Kecamatan Cibinong di Kabupaten Bogor, serta Kecamatan Bogor Utara di Kota Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik pengasuhan berada pada kategori sedang, persepsi orang tua tentang sekolah dan kesiapan sekolah anak berada pada kategori tinggi. Uji korelasi antar karakteristik menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara jenis kelamin anak dengan perkembangan fisik. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa jenis kelamin anak, usia orang tua, pekerjaan orang tua, praktik pengasuhan asah, dan persepsi orang tua tentang sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kesiapan sekolah.-
dc.description.abstractParenting practices and parents' perceptions of school have an important role in influencing children's readiness for school. This study aims to analyze the influence of parenting practices and parental perceptions of school on school readiness. This research uses an explanatory design with a non-probability sampling method using a purposive sampling technique. The research involved 102 mothers and preschool children attending kindergarten in Cibinong District in Bogor Regency, as well as North Bogor District in Bogor City. The research results show that parenting practices are in the medium category, parents' perceptions about school and children's school readiness are in the high category. The correlation test between characteristics revealed a significant negative relationship between gender and physical development. The results of the regression test show that the children’s sex, parents' age, parents’ occupation, nurturing dimensions of parenting practices, and parents' perception about school have a significant influence on school readiness.-
