| dc.description.abstract | Anemia sering terjadi pada remaja putri terutama di negara berkembang. Penyebab anemia di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia sebagian besar disebabkan defisiensi zat besi. Pemilihan jenis dan jumlah pangan yang dikonsumsi dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor sosial ekonomi dan demografi. Penelitian ini bertujuan keragaman konsumsi pangan dan asupan zat besi remaja putri 13-18 tahun di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan data sekunder yaitu data Survei Konsumsi Makanan Individu (SKMI) tahun 2014 dengan desain cross sectional study. Penelitian ini melibatkan 7808 subjek dan dilaksanakan di bulan Juni-Juli 2024. Data yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini meliputi data konsumsi individu, status ekonomi, jumlah anggota keluarga dan wilayah tempat tinggal. Sebanyak 54,5% subjek bertempat tinggal di desa, 57,7% berstatus ekonomi menengah ke bawah dan memiliki jumlah anggota rumah tangga dengan kategori besar (60,8%). Sebagian besar remaja putri memiliki keragaman pangan yang baik dengan rata-rata skor 4,02±0,99. Kelompok pangan yang memberikan kontribusi terbesar terhadap asupan zat besi subjek adalah serealia, umbi dan olahannya dengan jenis pangan utama yaitu beras. Rata-rata asupan zat besi remaja putri Indonesia (9,95±5,26 mg) masih tergolong kurang. Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara keragaman pangan wilayah tempat tinggal, status ekonomi dengan asupan zat besi (p<0,05). Tidak terdapat hubungan antara jumlah anggota keluarga dengan asupan zat besi. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | Anemia is commonly found in adolescent girls, particularly in developing countries. The cause of anemia in developing countries like Indonesia is primarily due to iron deficiency. The selection of types and quantities of food consumed can be influenced by socioeconomic and demographic factors. This study aims to analyze the dietary diversity and iron intake of adolescent girls aged 13-18 years in Indonesia. The study used secondary data from Survei Konsumsi Makanan Individu (SKMI) 2014 with a cross-sectional study design. A total of 7,808 subjects were involved, and was conducted in June-July 2024. The data included individual food consumption, economic status, family size, and region of residence. About 54.5% of the subjects lived in rural, 57.7% had a lower-middle economic status, and 60.8% had large households. Most adolescent girls had good dietary diversity with an average score of 4.02±0.99. The food groups that contributed the most to iron intake were cereals, tubers, and their processed products, with rice being the primary. The average iron intake of adolescent girls (9.95±5.26 mg) was inadequate. There was a significant relationship between dietary diversity, region of residence, economic status, and iron intake (p<0.05). However, there was no significant relationship between household size and iron intake. | - |
