| Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan sabun-Ca minyak larva Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) hingga level 8% terhadap respon fisiologis dan hematologi darah domba Garut jantan.
The study aimed to analyze the effect of supplementation of Black Soldier Fly larvae oil (Hermetia illucens) calcium soap up to 8% level on the physiological response and hematological blood of male Garut sheep. Fifteen male sheep with 10- 12 months of age and body weight 19.99±3.97 kg were allocated into randomized block design with 3 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments were P0 = control ration, P1 = P0+4% Ca-soap, and P2 = P0+8% Ca-soap. Parameters observed were cage temperature and humidity, physiological response, blood hematology profile, and drinking water consumption. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and further with Duncan's multiple range test. The results showed an increase in lymphocytes and a decrease in the N/L ratio (P<0.05). In conclusion, BSF larvae oil Ca-soap at the 8% level in the ration had a positive effect but not enough to show significant results compared to the use of the 4% level on the physiological and hematological responses of Garut male sheep. |
