Increasing eggplant productivity through fertilization using a sprayer capable of breaking down fertilizer solution into fine droplets and having optimal performance during field application. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of electric knapsack sprayers and semi-automatic knapsack sprayers with a modified two-ways nozzle for organic liquid fertilization using rabbit urine in eggplant cultivation. Liquid fertilizing treatments were applied using knapsack sprayers with a 1-hole cone nozzle and an 8-hole cone nozzle with the same dose of rabbit urine POC at 30 ml/plant. The main parameters for testing the sprayer in the laboratory were fluid pressure, effective spray rate, effective spray width, droplet diameter, and droplet density. The results of the analysis showed that the combination of an electric knapsack sprayer with a 1-hole cone nozzle (E-N1) was superior compared to other sprayer and nozzle type combinations. This was indicated by the E-N1 combination producing a spray pressure of 2.52 kgf/cm2 , a droplet diameter of 208.06 µm, a droplet density of 197 droplets/cm2 , with an effective spray width of 88 cm, and a spray rate of 2.37 liters/minute. The tool was able to spray efficiently with an effective field capacity of 0.21 ha/hour, a field efficiency of 94.87% with an output capacity of 671.5 ha/hour, but had a spray loss value of 32.67%. Based on field trials, the E-N1 treatment was more effective with faster flower emergence at 41.6 days after transplanting, fruit emergence at 44.8 days after transplanting, an average fruit weight of 92.6 grams/fruit, and a second period harvest productivity of 3.57 tons/ha.
