Abstract: Ketapang Urban Aquaculture (KUA) merupakan wisata alam dan edukasi untuk mengenalkan berbagai jenis tanaman mangrove. Selama satu tahun beroperasi, jumlah kunjungan wisata mengalami penurunan sejak bulan Juli 2023, menurun sebanyak 6.200 wisatawan atau 44,58% dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya. Hal tersebut berimbas pada penurunan tingkat pendapatan bagi pihak pengelola, unit usaha dan tenaga kerja yang ada di kawasan wisata. Berdasarkan uraian, tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah (1) Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi permintaan wisata dan mengestimasi nilai ekonomi objek wisata KUA. (2) Mengestimasi dampak ekonomi yang ditimbulkan oleh kegiatan wisata di sekitar objek wisata KUA. (3) Merumuskan strategi pengembangan kegiatan wisata di objek wisata KUA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Individual Travel Cost Method (ITCM), Multiplier effect, dan SWOT-ISM. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Faktor – faktor yang berpengaruh dalam fungsi permintaan wisata di KUA adalah jarak tempuh ke lokasi wisata dan lama mengetahui keberadaan wisata. Nilai ekonomi kawasan wisata sebesar Rp40.058.337.838. (2) Dampak ekonomi yang dihasilkan telah memberikan dampak kepada masyarakat lokal akan tetapi nilainya masih rendah. (3) KUA memiliki kekuatan dalam penawaran wisata edukasi mangrove serta kelemahan dari KUA ialah atraksi wisata yang masih belum dikembangkan secara maksimal sehingga rekomendasi strategi pengembangan prioritas yakni pengembangan wahana dan atraksi wisata.
Ketapang Urban Aquaculture (KUA) is a nature and educational tour to introduce various types of mangrove plants. During one year of operation, the number of tourist visits has decreased since July 2023, decreasing by 6.200 tourists or 44,58% compared to the previous month. This has an impact on the decline in income levels for the management, business units and labor in the tourist area. Based on the description, the objectives of this study are (1) Identifying factors that influence tourism demand and estimating the economic value of KUA tourism objects. (2) Estimating the economic impact caused by tourism activities around KUA tourism objects. (3) Formulating strategies for developing tourism activities in KUA tourism objects. The methods used in this research are Individual Travel Cost Method (ITCM), Multiplier effect, and SWOT-ISM. The results of this study are: (1) Factors that influence the demand function of tourism in KUA are the distance traveled to the tourist sites and the length of time knowing the existence of tourism. The economic value of the tourist area amounted to Rp40.058.337.838. (2) The resulting economic impact has impacted the local community but the value is still low. (3) KUA has strengths in mangrove educational tourism offerings and weaknesses of KUA is a tourist attraction that is still not developed optimally so that the recommendation of priority development strategy is the development of rides and tourist attractions.
