Fertilizing oil palm plants is an important thing for plants. Fertilizing oil palm plants is useful for adding and providing the nutrients needed by oil palm plants. The cost of fertilizing oil palm plants is quite large compared to other maintenance costs. The fertilizer used for research was NPK 12-6-27 at a dose of 1.5 kg/principal. The research was carried out by comparing 3 sprinkler tools, namely pipe caps (tools provided by the company), plates (experimental tools) and bowls (experimental tools). Activities are carried out by comparing time per tree(s), road time per path(s), fertilization time per path(s), fertilization time/ha(s), fertilization area (ha/hk/day), weight applied (kg/hk/day), the attainment of fertilizer norms (hk/ha) and the effectiveness of fertilization on each fertilizer spreader. Fertilizer spreaders with real bowls produce faster time and higher fertilization effectiveness compared to plate spreaders and pipe caps. |
