Penyutradaraan Dokumenter Gaya Ekspositori dalam Produksi Film "Binar Bestari"

Abstract

Film sebagai media komunikasi dan informasi saat ini dalam penyampaiannya sudah lebih kreatif dan inovatif dengan bermacam konsep yang mudah dimengerti yang salah satu jenisnya adalah film dokumenter. Tujuan dari proyek akhir ini adalah untuk menjelaskan penyutradaraan dokumenter ekspositori dalam pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi film “Binar Bestari”. Laporan akhir ini mengkaji tentang penyutradaraan dalam pembuatan film dokumenter dengan gaya ekspositori. Penyutradaraan dalam proses pra produksi film dokumenter bergaya ekspositori terdiri dari menentukan konsep, riset data, koordinasi penulisan dengan penulis naskah, dan mempersiapkan alat. Pada proses produksi sutradara fokus mengarahkan semua unsur yang terlibat mulai dari camera person, director of photography, hingga talent. Pada proses pasca produksi, sutradara berfokus mengarahkan editor dalam editing offline, editing script, dan editing online. Sutradara harus membuat lingkungan produksi yang nyaman agar produksi bisa maksimal dan sesuai dengan konsep dan treatment yang sudah dibuat oleh sutradara

Film as a medium of communication and information is currently more creative and innovative with a variety of easy-to-understand concepts, one of which is a documentary. The purpose of this final project is to explain the directing of expository documentaries in the pre-production, production, and post-production of the film "Binar Bestari". This final report examines directing in documentary filmmaking in an expository style. Directing in the pre-production process of expository style documentary films consists of determining the concept, researching data, coordinating writing with the scriptwriter, and preparing tools. In the production process, the director focuses on directing all the elements involved, ranging from camera person, director of photography, to talent. In the postproduction process, the director focuses on directing the editor in offline editing, script editing, and online editing. The director must create a comfortable production environment so that the production can be maximized and in accordance with the concept and treatment that has been made by the director.
