| Abstract: | Minyak kelapa olahan adalah salah satu komoditas sektor industri
Processed coconut oil is one of the commodities in the non-oil and gas processing industry sector and included in the fat and animal/vegetable oil commodity. The main destination areas for Indonesia’s are East Asia and North America. China and the United States (US) are the main export destination countries that do not produce processed coconut oil, yet become exporters in other countries. This indicates that the product exported by both countries is imported from other countries, such as Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the export flow and competitiveness of Indonesian processed coconut oil in East Asia and North America using descriptive analysis methods, RCA, AR, EPD, and X-Model. The research results show that Indonesian processed coconut oil exported to both areas is being traded again. The RCA result shows that Indonesian processed coconut oil is comparatively competitive in each destination country. The AR result shows that Indonesia can seize the export market for processed coconut oil in each destination country. The EPD result shows that Indonesia is in a retreat position in South Korea and in a rising star position in China and US. The X-Model result shows that Indonesia has less potential market in South Korea and optimistic potential market in China and the US. |
