Halal self declare represents government support for micro and small enterprises (SMEs) to enhance their competitiveness in the halal industry. SMEs receive special attention due to their significant impact on Indonesia's economy. However, the utilization of halal self declare remains suboptimal. As of May 2023, the third halal self declare certification program had only reached 8.9% of its 1 million targets. This research aims to analyze the factors influencing participation in halal self declare in the Baleendah district. Baleendah district was chosen because it has the largest Muslim population in Bandung Regency. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and logistic regression. The logistic regression analysis results indicated that religiosity, socialization, and assistance variables had a significant positive impact, while the variable length of business had a significant negative impact on SMEs participation in halal self declare. Policy implications that can be implemented include increasing socialization, assistance, and the implementation of warnings for SMEs that have not yet implemented halal self declare.
