terdapat perbedaan nyata. Nilai saturasi oksigen domba kontrol relatif konsisten
sedangkan nilai saturasi oksigen domba perlakuan mengalami penurunan.
Haemonchosis is a disease caused by Haemonchus contortus worms. These worms suck blood from sheep and cause anemia. The haemonchosis model sheep is a sheep that can imitate a condition in an animal suffering from haemonchosis to research its biological phenomena. The study was conducted on 20 sheep. Sheep were divided into control and treatment groups. The treated sheep were subjected to periodic blood sampling for 3 days to create anemia. Photos of the sheep's gums and conjunctiva and blood collection were taken on the first and third days. The conjunctival mucosa and gums of the control sheep were consistently normal while the treated sheep encountered mucosal paleness. Red, green, blue (RGB) values of the control sheep were not significantly different, while the treated sheep's RGB values had a significant difference between H1 and H3. Oxygen saturation value of the control sheep was relatively consistent, while the oxygen saturation value of the treated sheep decreased. The sheep's hematology indicates anemia because the RBC, Hb and PCV values are below normal. Independent T test on all variables stated that significant differences (p <0,05) occurred in oxygen saturation, Hb, conjunctival Red (R), and gum Red (R). |
