Chitosan can be utilized in many fields of modern industries, such as pharmaceutical, biochemical, cosmetic, food and textile industries. Currently, the government continuously encourages researchers to utilize chitosan products, include physically modified chitosan. Physical modifications is the changing of particle size into smaller particles for wider utilization. Therefore, the development of physical modification indicate the form of nanoparticles. Nano chitosan is a part of nano technology because it has specific properties and is be able to double the surface area, thus increasing the ability of chemical reaction. |
