| dc.description.abstract | Ulat sutera eri (Samia cynthia ricini) merupakan ternak satwa harapan yang memiliki hasil ikutan berupa pupa yang diketahui memiliki kandungan gizi yang baik seperti protein, karbohidrat, lemak, mineral dan vitamin. Oleh karena itu, pupa eri dalam bentuk tepung berpotensi untuk menjadi salah satu bahan makanan yang baik bagi penderita diabetes. Namun, indeks glikemik dari produk baru ini serta efek sampingnya masih belum diketahui sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur indeks glikemik dari produk dan perubahan pada hematologi darah yang dapat terjadi menggunakan tikus percobaan. Total tikus yang digunakan adalah 13 ekor tikus putih galur Sprague-dawley dengan konsentrasi tepung pupa eri dalam flakes sebanyak 4% dan 8%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian indeks glikemik, diperoleh hasil sediaan flakes dengan konsentrasi tepung pupa eri 4% dan 8% adalah sebesar 92,6% dan 75,8%. Uji hematologi lengkap menunjukkan semua parameter sel darah merah dan putih berada pada rentang normal. | id |
| dc.description.abstract | The eri silkworm (Samia cynthia ricini) is a hopeful animal which has byproducts in the form of pupae which are known to have good nutritional content such as protein, carbohydrates, fats, minerals and vitamins. Therefore, eri pupa in the form of flour has the potential to be a good food ingredient for diabetics. However, the glycemic index of this new product and its side effects are still unknown, so this study aims to measure the glycemic index of the product and changes in blood hematology that can occur using rats. The total number of rats used was 13 white rats of the Sprague-Dawley strain with 4% and 8% concentrations of ery powder in flakes. Based on the results of the glycemic index test, the results obtained for flakes preparations with 4% and 8% erythema powder concentrations were 92.6% and 75.8%. A complete hematology test showed all red and white blood cell parameters within the normal range. | id |
