Lombok Island is one of the islands that has a high potential for natural disasters. Lombok Island experienced climate change in the form of decreased rainfall in 1917 – 1980 and 2000 – 2008. Since the earthquake in 2018 TNGR has gradually attempted to prepare good safety standards such as security checks, providing safety information, and visitor recovery procedures. This study aims to formulate disaster potential-based tourism management on Mount Rinjani by identifying disasters and identifying tourism management. The methods used were literature studies, interviews and Likert scale questionnaires which were analyzed using the three-box method analysis and presented in a qualitative descriptive form. Disasters that have occurred are volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, landslides, fires, and tornadoes. Disaster-based tourism management that has been carried out is in the form of preparing climbing SOPs, closing and structuring routes, counseling to tourism actors, coaching Mount Barujari, rescue and recovery of visitors, and implementing the E-Rinjani application. Efforts to utilize and develop the infrastructure needed in tourism management based on the potential for disasters on Mount Rinjani.
