Title: Persepsi Khalayak Penonton terhadap Tayangan Talk show “Ini Talkshow” NET TV di Desa Urban

Abstract: Komunikasi massa sangat berperan penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari karena komunikasi massa sebagai informasi bagi masyarakat. Televisi mempunyai kemampuan untuk menyampaikan informasi-informasi terkini secara cepat, tepat dan serentak di seluruh penjuru dunia. Program talk show sendiri dijadikan sebagai program televisi untuk menarik perhatian para khalayak dengan dikemas dalam bentuk formal maupun menghibur dengan mengikuti tren masa kini. Hal ini menimbulkan persepsi khalayak di desa urban terutama desa yang berdekatan dengan kotamadya yang terus meningkat karena pendatang dari luar kota. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik khalayak dengan persepsi khalayak dan mengetahui hubungan keterdedahan dengan persepsi khalayak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif yang didukung dengan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan persepsi khalayak pada program “Ini Talkshow” termasuk kategori puas. Karakteristik khalayak tidak memiliki hubungan nyata dengan persepsi khalayak. Keterdedahan khalayak memiliki hubungan nyata dengan persepsi masyarakat dengan hasil semakin tinggi frekuensi menonton maka nilai informasi dan daya tarik tayangan “Ini Talkshow” semakin tinggi.
Mass communication play an important role in everyday life because the mass communication as information for the community. Television have the ability to deliver the latest information quickly, precisely and simultaneously throughout the world. The talk show program itself is used as a television program to attract the attention of the audience by created in the form of formal and entertaining by following the trends of the present. This raises the perception of audiences in urban villages, especially villages adjacent to municipalities, which continue to increase due to migrants from outside the city. This study aims to determine the characteristics of society with public perception and determine the relationship between exposure and perception public. This study uses a quantitative approach that is supported by qualitative data. The results showed that the public's perception of the "Ini Talkshow" program was the satisfied category. The characteristics of the community do not have a real relationship with the audience's perception. The exposure of the audience has a real relationship with public perception with the result that the higher the frequency of viewing, the higher the information value and attractiveness of the “Ini Talkshow”.
