pengetahuan inovasi Badan Litbang Pertanian.
peningkatan pengetahuan responden. Disseminating agricultural research innovation is an important communication activity to encourage the process of applying technology in a social system. The choice of media to disseminate information is the main key so that information can be conveyed quickly, easily accessed and is not limited by space and time. Social media is quite effective and efficient because it has advantages in terms of speed of distribution and reaching the wider community. This study is intended to determine the effectiveness of agricultural innovation dissemination through videos on YouTube social media. This research is a purely experimental study with a 2 x 2 factorial design and uses a pretest posttest control group design. The research subjects were 50 people, divided into four experimental groups, namely (K1) group who were shown a video with short-duration realistic visual form, (K2) group who were shown a video with long-duration realistic visual form, (K3) group who were shown a longduration animated infographic video, (K4) group who were shown a short-duration animated infographic video, and one control group, each group consisted of 10 randomly selected people. Data processing uses SPSS 23.0 to see the effect of visual form and video duration, as well as to see the correlation of personal characteristics and communication behavior of respondents on increasing knowledge of agricultural innovation. The statistical results show the presentation of agricultural innovation through video has an effect on increasing respondents' knowledge. The highest increase in knowledge was obtained from long-duration realistic visual videos, followed by short-duration realistic visual videos, then long-duration animated infographic videos, and the last one is a short-duration animated infographic videos. Personal characteristics with indicators of farming experience, and communication behavior with exposure indicators on communication media also have a correlation with the increase in respondents' knowledge |
