Pematahan Dormansi Pucuk Burung pada Tanaman Teh (Camellia sinensis L.)Produktif secara Manual dan Kimia di Dataran Sedang

Abstract

The experiment was aimed to study the influence of manner and time of aplication to breaking dormancy on shoots of productive tea at medium plain. The experiment was carried out at Goalpara Estate PT Rrkebunan XI2 Sukabumi (elevation 1 050 m above sea level) from May to September 1991. Klon llU 2025 planted on 1977 and 27 months after prunning was used ini this experiment. Complete block design were used with 11 treatments and 4 replications. Treatments consist of mannual manner (shoots were plucked at dormant bud plus terminal leaf (b + I)) with 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks old, chemical manner (plucking area per bush was sprayed with 50 ml of 1 000ppm concentration of GA, per bush) at the shoot age of 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks old, and control. The result showed that treatments efect was signijicant on the time first of plucking, the number of cummulative plucked shoot, the fresh weight of apical and axillar dl shoots, and length of apical shoots. Deatments had not signijicant influence the fresh weight of arillar dl shoots and length of axillar do and dl shoots.
