dc.description.abstractThis research consisted of two experiments, they were Nepenthes mirabilis and Nepenthes reinwardtiana germination experiment. Completely Randomized Design was used in the two experiments. The Nepenthes mirabilis and Nepenthes reinwardtiana seeds was germinated into eight different culture mediums. Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium with one-fourth salt consentration (SC), MS one-half SC, MS three-fourth SC, MS full SC, Knudson-C (KC) one-fourth SC, KC one-half SC, KC three-fourth SC and KC full SC were used as treatments. This result showed that KC with one-fourth salt consentration was the best medium for Nepenthes mirabilis germination on germination percentage (96.67%), initial germination days (39.29 day after planting), number of leaf and root. In other case, KC with one-fourth SC medium, KC one-half SC and MS onefourth SC were the best medium in number of leaf and root Nepenthes reinwardtiana. On germination percentage variable of Nepenthes reinwardtiana best in MS with one-half salt consentration (95%).id
