KERAGAMAN GENETIK DNA Y-KROMOSOM PADA ENAM RUMPUN KAMBING LOKAL INDONESIA

Abstract

The Y chromosome in the segmen SRY sequences were used to study the genetic diversity and relationships of six breeds of Indonesian local goats, namely, Kacang, Marica, Samosir, Jawarandu, Muara and Benggala goats.About 18 samples were selected from 77 blood samples of Indonesian local bucks PCR products each group 3 samples were continu for sequence analyses. A total of 13 nucleotide sites with contained of 499 nucleotides were used for DNA analysis. Fourhaplotypes were identified from the 6 polymorphic sites of the SRY nucleotides.The value of Y chromosome geneticdiversitywas 0.004±0.002. The paternaloriginof six Indonesian local goats were divided in to fours haplotypes. Kacang and Jawarandu were the first groups, Marica and Samosir the second groups, Muara the third groups and Benggala the fourth groups.
