This study was aimed to determine the effects of lactation length, days dry, days open, and calving interval on milk production in Holstein-Friesian (HF) cows at Dairy Breeding BPPT-SP Cikole, Lembang, West Java. Complete lactation milk yields were obtained from weekly record (13 rcds) and daily record (72 rcds). Milk records were collected from a number of HF cows for 48 hds within the lactation periods of 1 - ≥4 Test Interval Method (TIM) was used to estimate complete milk yield from weekly milk record. The effects of lactation length, dry period, days open, and calving interval on complete milk yield were analised by regression models for the three levels of linear, quadratic and cubic. Examinations of the effect of individual factor on milk yield were very significant (P < 0.01), the exception was for insignificant effect of days dry (P > 0.05). Cubic regression explained the best relationship among these individual factors with milk production. The conclution of this study was that to optimize milk production of HF cows, pursuing these three determinant factors to be shorter as recommendation.id
