dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to study the right time of harvesting of java tea to get the high production and bioactive content. The objective was conducted in the Conservation and Medicinal Cultivation Unit (CMCU) Cikabayan, Bogor from October 2013 until March 2014. The complete randomized block design with one factor, such as the time of harvest, was used as experimental design. Time of harvest were conducted two weeks after planting (P1), four weeks after planting (P2), six weeks after planting (P3), during flowering (P4), one week after flowering (P5), and two weeks after flowering (P6). Each treatment had repetition four times, so that there were 24 experimental units. The experimental result shows that the high sinensetin content of java tea were found in the time of harvest of one week after floweringen
