Abstract

INDAH TRI UTAMI. Dampak Obyek Wisata Sendang Asri Waduk Gajah Mungkur Wonogiri terhadap Kondisi Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat. Dibimbing SOERYO ADIWIBOWO. Pariwisata merupakan suatu industri yang banyak diperbincangkan akhir- akhir ini. Pariwisata berperan dalam peningkatan devisa negara. Kunjungan wisatawan baik dari sekitar maupun luar kawasan wisata silih berganti mencari suasana baru untuk menikmati keindahan alam dan potensi yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak Obyek Wisata Sendang Asri Waduk Gajah Mungkur terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat. Analisis didasarkan pada data kuantitatif yang didukung dengan data kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan wisata terbukti dapat meningkatkan pendapatan pelaku usaha, membuka lapangan pekerjaan, serta membuka kesempatan kerja dan berusaha bagi masyarakat. Pendapatan yang diperoleh pelaku usaha di dalam obyek wisata dirasa cukup serta telah membuka kesempatan bagi masyarakat sekitar kawasan maupun luar kawasan wisata untuk membuka usaha guna mencari keuntungan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup. Selain itu, adanya obyek wisata berdampak bagi kehidupan sosial masyarakat yaitu dalam perubahan gaya hidup seperti perubahan dalam hal berpakaian. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi salah satu referensi bagi pemerintah dan pengelola obyek wisata untuk memanfaatkan hasilnya guna mementingkan masyarakat di sekitarnya.

Recently, tourism is an industry that is very important for many people. It is always be a goog discussion for them. It has a role in increasing the devisen of the country and the city. There are many tourists, local of grom other areas who come to this tourism object. They come to this place because they want to refresh, see, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. This research analyze the effect of Sendang Asri Waduk Gajah Mungkur tourism object to the social economical condition of the inhabitats in this place. This analyze is based on quantitativ data and supported by descriptive qualitative. The result of this research shows that the activity of tourism can increase the income of the seller, and give job opportunities for many people. The income that is gotten by the inhabitants in this tourism object is enough for them. It is also give job opportunities, not only for the local people but also for people who are came from other area. Morever, tourism object gives and effect for socialization, such as, change the life style of fashion. Finally, the writer hopes this research can be used to be one of reference for the goverment and the owner of object tourism to exploit the income for the important of the inhabitants around it.
