      Pengembangan model aditif-multiplikatif Untuk seleksi daya adaptasi tanaman

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini berangkat dari masalah riil (real problems) pada kajian seleksi daya adaptasi tanaman yang dilakukan dalam rangka menjamin tersedianya pangan yang berkualitas. Kegiatan bertujuan mengembangkan metode yang berkenaan dengan analisis interaksi yang banyak digunakan dalam kajian daya adaptasi genotipe suatu tanaman pada percobaan multilokasi. Secara statistika, kajian ini memanfaatkan model additivemultiplicative atau model AMMI (Additive Main effect and Multiplicative Interactions). Model AMMI memerlukan pengembangan untuk tanggap terhadap masalah riil pada riset pemuliaan tanaman khususnya, dan untuk perluasan cakupan analisis. Dengan roadmap dan indikator knerja yang jelas, pengembangan dilakukan bertahap selama tiga tahun, dengan tetap merespon perkembangan tiap tahunya. Pengembangan utama model seleski adapatabilitas melalui model AMMI dapat kita pandang dalam empat hal, (1) penanganan ketersediaan atau kelengkapan data (2) Penanganan permasalahan Model AMMI pada Disribusi Normal dan Pengembangan Inferensi pada Model AMMI, (3) Pengembangan/perluasan Model AMMI (Generelazied AMMI) dan (4) pengembangan komputasi dan aplikasinya. Dengan melibatkan 9 orang mahasiswa pascasarjana, sedikitnya dihasilkan 12 artikel diseminasi nasional dan international dan 7 artikel publiksi dalam jurnal nasional dan nasional terakreditasi. Hasil yang menarik adalah konsep Circular Statistics untuk mendapatkan selang kepercayaan Bootstrap bagi Biplot AMMI, dan algoritma Alternating Regression pada GAMMI dan Robus AMMI, serta pengunaan konsep Bayesian pada model AMMI. Yang tidak kalah penting adalah mengintegrasikan pengembangan metode metode analisis interaksi genotipe interaksi untuk seleksi adaptasi secara komprehensif. Integrasi ini diperlukan mengingat genetika kuantitatif telah sukses membantu pemulia tanaman, tetapi aplikasi statistika sering kali sulit dimengerti oleh seseorang yang bekerja pada genetika molekular
       
      This study is one of the real problems in the study of plant adaptation power of selection, which is done in order to ensure the availability of quality food. This activity aims to develop methods associated with the analysis of interactions that are widely used in the study of the adaptation of the genotype of a plant in multi location trials. In statistics, this study utilizing additive-multiplicative model or AMMI model (Additive Main effect and Multiplicative Interactions). AMMI model requires development to respond to real problems in plant breeding research in particular, and for the expansion of the scope of the analysis. With the roadmap and clear performance indicators, the development carried out gradually over three years, with still respond to development each year. The main development of the model selection AMMI adaptability through the model can be seen in four cases, (1) the availability or completeness of data handling (2) Handling problems AMMI Model on Normal Distribution and Development of Inference in AMMI model, (3) Development / expansion of the AMMI model (Generalized AMMI) and (4) the development of computing and its applications. By involving nine graduate students, at least 12 articles generated national and international dissemination and publishing seven articles in national journals and nationally accredited. Interesting results is the concept of Circular Statistics to obtain bootstrap confidence intervals for AMMI BIPLOT, and algorithms on GAMMI Alternating Regression and Robust AMMI, as well as the use of the concept of Bayesian on AMMI model. What is important is to integrate the development of methods of analysis of the interaction genotype interaction for adaptation in a comprehensive selection. This integration is necessary because of quantitative genetics has successfully helped plant breeders, but the application of statistics often times difficult to understand by someone who works on molecular genetics
