dc.description.abstractObjective of this study was to analyze the consumption of legumes and its products among poor households living in urban and rural at Bogor District. A cross sectional study was conducted atfour sub districts namely Gunung Putri, Cibinong, Cigudeg, and Ciawi. A total of 229 out of 420 poor households who consumed legumes were analyzed in this study. A 24 hours dietary recall was applied to collect the household food consumption. The results showed that the households mostly consumed soy product such as tofu, tempeh, and soy sauce. Amount consumption of these three products is higher in urban than rural areas, namely total tofu, tempeh, and soy sauce in both areas is 63, 52, 7 g/capita/day respectively.. Tofu and tempeh consumption have a higher contribution to the macro and micro nutrients intake compared with other legumes. Average contribution nutrients intake in urban and rural areas are 6.2 % energy, 26.2 %protein, 26.2 %fat, 44.1 %calcium, and 40.1 % iron.en
