dc.description.abstract | This research aimed to analyze the availability and consumption pattern of vegetables, fruits and nuts in population in Indonesia 2002-2011. This research was conducted on June to December 2013. Source of the data was secondary data from National Socia-economic Survey (SUSENAS) during 2002-2011. The average of vegetables, fruits and nuts availability and consumption showed an increase during 2002-2011. The availability and consumption contribution of energy and protein of vegetables, fruits and nuts also showed an increase. This result showed that the vegetables and fruits consumption occurred larger in rural areas than the urban area. Otherwise nuts consumption was larger in urban than the rural areas. The availability of vegetables, fruits and nuts against the consumption of vegetables, fruits and nuts are in the condition of food secured to vegetables and fruits but nuts are in food secured conditions however fragile. This condition was evidenced by the number ratio of vegetables and fruits which are at> 1.2 while the nuts are on the number 0.8 < 1.2. | en |
