| dc.description.abstract | In the concept of the millennium development goals (MDGs) village community, that is required is the development of better systems to fulfill needs of health, home economics, institutional aspects of community groups and improve environmental quality. This research has been conducted for seven months from April to November 2011. Petir and Situgede village chosen as the location of this study because it is included in the village the circumference of Dramaga IPB Campus, and mostly they are farmers. The purpose of this study is generally to develop a model eco-village transactions through the optimization of food and energy to improving family nutrition. Study was conducted with using the method pre and post test. The study will measure the impact of interventions to change knowledge, attitudes, and practices of consumption and the role of community institutions in accelerating the achievement of the millennium. In the Petir village the results indicate the occurrence of changes, the proportion of expenditure for food and non food. At the farm families from 61.7% to 53.9%, whereas in the non farm families from 0.009). There is a change of food consumption toddlers become more diverse, nutritious and balanced. PHBS on family farmers and non farmers become better.
