This research aims to examine the effects of adding organic material in the form of compost enriched by humic acid and activator bacteria to reduce the incidence of damping off disease in peanut caused by Sclerotium rolfsii. The results showed that the treatment of infested soil by S. rojlsii + compost + soil humic acid can control the incidence of damping off disease by 81.25% and the treatment of infested soil by S. rojlsii + compost + activator bacterium B6 can control the incidence of damping off disease by 93.75%. While the treatment of infested soil by S. rojlsii + compost + humic acid + activator bacterium 86 can control the incidence of damping off disease by 100%, or the same value with sterilized soil (control (+)). Humic acid and activator bacterium in compost which applied to growth media can also increase the number of leaves and length of plant roots. Conclusions that can be drawn from the results of the research was the addition 0 f humic acid and activator bacteria in compost applied to growth media can suppress the incidence ofdamping offdisease in peanut.en
