dc.description.abstractThe research objective was to analyze the application of Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) with Figure Rating Scale (FRS) for measuring body image of female adolescents. The cross-sectional study design was conducted in the high school (SMAN 1 Bogor). whereas the 77 female students selected as a samples. The results showed that most 01 the student had a negative body perception based on the BSQ (88.3%) and FRS (94.8%). The body perception was Influenced mostly by their parents (90.9%), peers (80.5%) and mass media (68.8%). The adolescent females made efforts to achieved body Ideal through combination meal and exercise (58.4"1.) and diet restriction (24.7%). Meanwhile, 36.4%. of samples applied unproper activities for their body ideal. The esc had sensitivity (Se) 75% and specificity (Sp) 90.4% compared to the FRS. Meanwhile, the esc's reliability test was 0.875. In the conclusion, the BSC and FRS have almost similar results for measuring body perception of adolescent females.en
