dc.description.abstractThe needs for pineapple seedlings are 40.000-60.000 per hectare, so necessary a technology that propagate seedlings in a large numbers rap idly and have good vigor in field. The study was conducted in two experiments, namely for increasing the rate of seed production and improve vigor of the seed lings in the field. The objectives of the first experiment is to study the effect of Benzyl Adenine Purine (BAP) and the coconut water to produce stem cottage of pineapple GP- l (Ananas comosus L. Merr) and the second experiment is to study the effect of urea and gibberellic ac id application to in crease vigor. The results of these experiments showed that the treatment of BAP and coconut water did not affect sign ifi cantly on the development of shoots. The treatments of urea and gibberellic acid affected only the leaves width at 16 MSA (Week After Aplication).en
