dc.description.abstract | The availability of superior seeds good with reasonable price is one way that can be done to improve the productivity of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.). Superior seed procurement a good can be done by way of superior clonal varieties or cultivars. Clonal on palm oil could only be done through tissue culture biotechnology, in particular through somatic embryogenesis (SE). With this technique can be generated a lot of superior clonal seedlings and uniforms so as to increase the productivity of the CPO period ahead. In this study tested the use of corlcentrated awareness low in Auxin media to induce the somatic embryogenesis of somatic embryos directly primer. The culture media used for direct somatic embryogenesis induced to form embryos secondary somatic is AH1 AH2 AH3, and Somatic embryos medium used for maturations is MH1 and MH2. While the germination medium to generate the GH1 and GH2 is all but extinct. The results showed that the media is media that best AH3 to primary somatic embryo induction with the average number of embryos as much as 5.5 globular and phase 2.4 torpedo phase.
