Structure and composition of tree play a very important role in maintaining forest ecology function. Disturbed to forest will cause change to the sructure and composition of vegetation. This research aimed to study structure and composition of tree in different disturbances level on the Salak mountain forest, West Java. It was conducted from May to August 2005. Vegetation analyses were approached by using sistematic plot method. The results showed totally the number of tree 758 recorded from thirty six plots consisting of 70 species belong to 59 genera, 27 families. Species richness, species diversity, species eveness of tree vegetation were found to be lower in highly disturbed forest than forest with lower degree of disturbance. In contrast, canopy cover, plant density and bassal area were found to be higher in forests experienced with lower disturbance.
