The problem of potato production in Indonesia is the production of high quality virus free propagules. The virus free potato propagules can be derived from micropropagation. Culture media composition is the important factor in potato micropropagation. The objective of the research was to know the optimum concentration of nitrogen, sucrose, combination beetween nitrogen and sucrose on growth of potato micro cutting. The research was arranged in Completely Randomized Design consist of two factor. The first factor was nitrogen concentration ( 30,60,90 and 120 mM) and the second factor was sucrose concentration (30,45,60,75 and 90 g L-1). The result showed there was an optimum concentration of sucrose on the number of shoots (45.36 g L-1) for 2 week incubation.en
