dc.description.abstractThe objective of this research was to identification chemical and physic character of guava in Cileungsi, Cariu, and Tanjungsari, region of Bogor. The research was conducted in Cileungsi, Cariu, and Tanjungsari from Januari 2007 to September 2007. The result showed there are 11 cluster of guava. Cluster number I and VIII that might be chategoryzed as variety bangkok. Cluster number II, III, IV, V, Vl,and VII as variety susu. Cluster number IX, X,and XI as varlety merah. Cluster number IX have the best phenol compound there is 28.82 mg/g, it has caracteristic length of fruit 3.5≤x<5 cm, wide of fruit <5 cm, weight of fruit <80 g, shape of fruit spheroid, length of leaf 10≤x<12 cm, and shape of base fruit rounded.en
