Kesalahan penerapan tata bahasa baku oleh mahasiswa dalam menulis skripsi

Students were considered to pay less importance on the use of contemporary grammar of Indonesian language when writing their thesis. Thus, this study aims at: 1) analyzing the most frequent mistakes found in their writing; 2) analyzing the materials needing emphasis in Indonesian language subject. Overall, IPB students already applied contemporary grammar of Indonesian language in their thesis writing; however, when analysis was done based on the materials, students still made some mistakes and these mistakes varied from one student to another. The most common mistakes they made were sentence construction, paragraph writing, and quotations. All lecturers believed that all materials needed to be emphasized although the degree of emphasis varied from one lecturer to another. In conclusion, all IPB students under the study already applied contemporary grammar of Indonesian language when writing their thesis.
