An experiment had been conducted in order to evaluate the effectiveness of lipid protection of several Indonesian feeds from rumen microbial attacked (jydrogenation) using formaldehyde. The experiment used the randomized block design in factorial. The first factor was feeds (Kernel Palm Oil Meal/KPOM, Yellow Com/YC, Rice Bran/RB, and Pature Grass Bruchiaria humidicola/BH); the second factor was level of formaldehyde used (0, 2.5, 5, 7.5 and 10% of Crude Protein of Feed); the third factor was storage time of processed feeds (0,2,4, and 6 days after addition of formaldehyde).
