dc.description.abstractZn fortification in food system could be token os a cost effective progromme inovercoming Zn deficiency since it has been successfilly applied in wheat flour. Zn deficiency in Indonesia is a complex binding problem together with Fe deficiency and other micronutrient deficiencies. Through public private cooperation, in fortified food could be produced and distributed to torget population at offordable price. The form of fortificont and point of oddition in mixing technology should be token into consideration in accordonce with food vehicle. The paper described importonce function of Zn in metabolism, prerequicite of succes in Zn fortification progromme, production ond quolity assurance.id
