The objective of this research is to develop a multiobjective genetic algorithm, one type of evolutionary computation technique, for optimization of complex agroindustial system design problem. First, we focus our work to the development of the sequential multi-objective genetic algorithm and then we expand our work to see the feasibility of and do some experiments on parallel multi-objective genetic algorithm. The research results indicate that the genetic algorithms developed in this work outperform the traditional techniques such as genetic-lexicographic method.id
