The objective of this research is to assess the effect of heavy metals to growth of diesel degrading microbes. The heavy metals tested were zinc, plumbum, iron and mercury. The toxicity heavy metals have been tested gradually untill the growth of isolates were inhibited at certain concentration of heavy metals. The mixed culture or Pseudomonas pseudomallei and Enterobacter agglomerans have toleranced to higher of heavy metals such as Zn, Pb, Fe up to 8000 ppm, while 150 ppm for Hg. Mixed culture total counting reach to 106 -107 cfulml. For mixed cu~tUI~, optimal removal of heavy metals (Zn and Hg; 92 % and 71 % respectively) ubtained at concentration of2000 ppm ofZn and 3000 ppm ofPb.id
